At Something Wild we are at the forefront of supplying First Nations food to restaurants and consumers around Australia. Specialising in game meats and native greens, we have built strong relationships with First Nations communities giving us the privilege of being able to promote and supply unique produce from one of the world’s oldest cultures. Not only does this provide our customers with the opportunity to experience these products that celebrate First Nations culture, but it also provides positive opportunities and outcomes for many rural First Nations communities.

As an First Nations-owned company supplying First Nations produce it is core to Something Wild Australia to respect and promote ethical cultural and environmental practices. SWA engages First Nations harvesters and employees throughout the business and have a strong commitment to fostering positive relationships with communities to create economic opportunities for First Nations people.

SomethingWild Australia is majority-owned by the famous AFL family ‘The Motlops’. With Daniel Motlop at the helm as General Manager, brothers Steven and Shannon along with their father, Eddie Motlop all maintain a hands-on role in the company that was launched in 2016.

 

We specialise in a range of First Nations Food and Open Range Game meats as well as native greens, seasonal fruits, herbs, spices and condiments. We sell direct to restaurants wholesale or through our retail store. We stock things along the lines of – Kangaroo, Venison, Wild Boar, Camel, Buffalo, Crocodile & Goat.

Something Wild supplies First Nations produce to some of Australia’s top restaurants and internationally acclaimed chefs including Noma Australia, Vue de Monde, Orana as well as Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck when it was in Australia. Something Wild also sell these products to the public at their retail outlet in Adelaide.
