Why do we ask for hi res ai/eps/pdf files of your logos and artwork for printing onto items?
Low Resolution
Low-res images have fewer dots, about 72 per inch. They’re good for the internet and digital platforms, as that’s how much most computer screens can show. Low-res images are also small in size, which helps websites load faster. However, they won’t work well for printing your logos or designs on things like clothing or products which is where Hi-Res files are important.
High Resolution
Hi-res images/files have lots of tiny dots, at least 300 pixels per inch (PPI). This level of resolution ensures excellent print quality, which is important for producing hard copies, particularly when representing your brand or other essential print materials.
Ink can be expensive, so it’s better to use high-quality files to get clear prints without any blurriness or jagged edges. This way, your printed materials will turn out exactly how you want them!
This is why we always prefer high-resolution images or ai/ eps/ pdf files!
