I wish to share with you the delightful experience Ochre Dawn had recently whilst assisting in organising and also attending the Junction NAIDOC Community Event at the Cosgrove Community Hall, Clovelly Park. It was an event filled with warmth, cultural significance and experiences. This event was a celebration for and with Junction’s community – many of whom identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

The event took place on Wednesday 5^th July and was attended by approximately 150 guests over a 2-hour period.

A few of the highlights from the day was the amazing First Nations band performance, the delightful First Nations catering, all the wonderful stall holders that took time out of their day to help make it a great success, the dancer and of course all those who attended to make it a memorable event.

Mother Nature also seemed to smile upon us that day as we were blessed to be able to provide some great outdoor activities for the children.

I wish to personally thank Bonnie Trinh from Junction for being an absolute pleasure to work with on the event.
